I sometimes contribute to the diigo group ECO20/20, but as has been said before Energy Net contributes far more. One of his more recent contributions was on Philippe Starck Makes A Come Back, Designs Mini Wind Turbine ( philippe, starck,, designer,, wind, turbine,, mini, wind, turbine,).
It was just a short time ago that Mr. Stark was declaring design dead. In that post, I argued that there are more than enough opportunities to find meaningful purpose in designing for the other 80%, who could use a bit more materiality.
From Energy Net: Personal wind turbines are more often invented than actually manufactured. Those that make it to the commercial stage are mostly available at several thousands of dollars. That's why it is all the more surprising that as of next September you’ll be able to buy a true designer windmill for way less than that.
